Frampton Fete 2017
The post -fete meeting was held on 14th September and 6 villagers attended.
The main business was the approval of the accounts that showed a total profit of £2342.57 from the fete weekend, including the Saturday skittles and BBQ. It was unanimously agreed to distribute the profit to the 3 beneficiaries: the Village Hall, St Marys church, Frampton, and the Millennium Green. Each charity was presented with a cheque for £770. This means that the balance in the fete account amounts to £659.62 after the distribution of cheques. Peter, the treasurer, was thanked for all his work before and after the fete.
Stephen, Peter and Jill did not wish to stand again for re-election and there were no nominations for Chair person, secretary and treasurer. As these positions are vacant it was agreed that the secretary should write to each of the beneficiaries: Hall, Church and Green, asking that they identify 2 representatives each to form the new fete working party.
It was agreed that the Hall and Green should be booked for the 1st and 2nd July 2017 for next years fete weekend. It was thought that further arrangements must wait until after the new group is formed.
The reps from the Hall, Church and Green will meet at FVH on Wed 9th Nov at 7.30pm to plan the 2017 fete. All villagers who can help in any way are also welcome
